The European Union recently accepted applications for their high-level domain. The funny news is that Europeans want the word "sex" in their domains. Sex.eu earned the highest figure of applications according to EURid, the group responsible for the registration of domain names.
I don't know if the people who filed the applications with sex on them are perverts or frustrated fuckers. Europeans are good-mannered people, so I'm wondering why on earth they want sex in their domain. Experts said that in choosing a name for your website or domain, pick something that's special, extraordinary, or odd, to eliminate the risk of cybersquatting. Case in point: sex isn't exactly unique. There's nothing special about it, really, unless you do it with
Jessica Alba or Ziyi Zhang.
Aside from sex.eu, other popular names that EURid got were hotels.eu, travel.eu, and brace yourself guys, PORN.EU! Talk about morality websites, huh! I don't think the pope's happy with this news and I want to see some spiritual reformation in action. I love France for their wines, Germany for the
FIFA World Cup, Belgium for their chocolates, and the whole European continent to be exact. But with these things happening, let's all bow our heads and yell: Ziyi Zhang pray for us!
