It feels bad when we want a personal digital assistant very badly, but we can't get it for ourselves because somebody owns it or it's been reserved for someone. Same goes with domain names. I was searching for the domain "dogfleas.com" on NetworkSolutions (NS) last night. I'll be using it as a website for my cousins bakery. But unfortunately, the results said that a veterinarian already has that domain. That was really, really bad. A name like that for a bakery website would be fantastic!

Good thing the domain is about to expire this month. I hope that the owner would dispose his account with NS so I can buy that cute name. If you want a domain, but it's taken by somebody else, get it through back ordering. All you have to do is to give NS the name of the domain you want and your information, then they'll give you an update once the domain becomes available. It's very easy actually, all you do is wait, that's all!

I choose NS because they sell domains at an affordable price. Aside from that, the company gives you updates if ever a domain matches the criteria that you gave them. Making a back order with NS is easy: visit the site, click on back order, give the info needed, then wait! It's as easy as eyeing the guy or girl you like. When somebody owns them, wait until they're free again. I just hope we can also make back orders for people.

Domain names are among the hottest online businesses today. It is not surprising then why domain name back ordering is getting more popular. So what is this domain name backordering? Domain name backordering is a service that enables anyone to reserve a domain name whenever it goes up on sale. As such, there are various businesses all over the web that is availing this kind of service. There are several disadvantages though of domain name backordering. For instance, when you neglect to renew your domain name regardless of your reasons, another business on the other end may make a backorder for your domain name. You'd be surprised to see that somebody else is already using it.
There are cases, however, when your domain name is protected. For instance, when you own a Canadian domain name that is secured by the CIRA, your domain name would be protected from potential backordering. Otherwise, you might be at the risk of losing your trademark, unless, of course, if you do your responsibility of renewing it on time. As such, you should constantly check for e-mail for notices of renewing your domain name.

If you are on the lookout for some of the hottest and potentially popular domain names, worry no more because it is possible for you to pass on the work to someone else. Of course, that is provided if you are a busy business exec like me, who does not have all the time in the world to monitor the internet, 24/7. I have just discovered another service that can save us from domain worries -- DropFly.
Almost 85 percent of registered domain names are not currently in use and that's the first thing I learned from DropFly. Signing up with DropFly is easier compared to other domain backorder services. Their interface is user-friendly and a lot of site name extensions are supported. There are two things in particular why I also use DropFly: the option to change domain name and the very affordable drop service fee. Whereas others offer names that I would not want to be stuck with, DropFly gives me the alternative to modify the backordered domain name any time I wish. DropFly is the only service I know so far who has that. Best of all, I don't have to pay more than $50 or thousands; I only have to pay about 16 bucks while waiting for my customized site! Where else can you get the sweetest deal, huh?

Have you heard of the term net-real-estate? I bet you haven't, so listen in as I brief you into the juiciest details and earn you some cold hard cash. People invest in a lot of things: there's real estate, franchises and other business opportunities. While most people, especially those who are predisposed with the lucrative side of the dot-com industry, invest their money on domain names. Domain names are getting hotter and hotter by the day and they're selling like hotcakes over the net.
And because of this domain name hype, came the concept of back-ordering. A person who has been dreaming to be a proud owner of a domain name can reserve it, so that once the original owner dumps it for sale, he can now own it. But since they are considered investments, money is always involved. So when investing you also have to take care of it and not let it expire for the whole world to catch.
But what happens if you had disregarded to renew it, what happens? Then you would have to suffer the consequences. So it's pretty important to take care of it just like you would a newly found pet.

The problem of most website owners is making a domain name before actually releasing the site for public use. It is indeed hard to choose the right name that would represent your site especially if the name you have chosen has already been registered. You can wait for the expiration of that particular name and backorder it or select among the list of available domain names. The backorder of domain gives you a larger opportunity to access the more comprehensive and longer list of names that are about to expire without paying anything.
To get the list you just have to post a request indicating that you are interested in a particular registered name. Through the alerts, you will know when that name will be available. However, there is a possibility that there are also other people who wish to have that name for their site, in that case a small auction will happen to ensure that the problem will be handled fairly. Payments are given only after the backordered name has been fulfilled. It is only after you have paid your order that it will be registered under your name. But if the name has not registered successfully, you can get your money back.

If you order or purchase a domain, that domain may not be immediately available. This situation arises when you may wait for sometime for that domain to expire before actually acquiring that domain. The web designs might already be present but you must wait for the domain name.
Most domain registration companies may not fully guarantee that your domain will be registered in your name on time even if you already made initial payments. The best way to purchase a domain and not wait very long time for it to be registered in your name is by monitoring those domains which are about to expire and immediately make reservations.
